stills from ERDNA
ERDNA is a fictional place of storage, constantly extending through the compulsion of images, compartments, gates, boxes, drawers, portals, caves and abysses. This spatiality ruptures within the installation space, emerging as a possible and habitable architecture of a Family Archive. Displayed in its interior, the documents from this archive announce the search for a double, a resemble, a twin, an equal. However, it also shows its absence and distance.
ERDNA is a memorial where several characters from my childhood imaginary (real or fabricated) are evoked through a revision and revisitation of the past.
ERDNA is the repetition act as an attempt to resist the inevitable passing of time and the inevitable destruction of the archival body, the carnal body and spiritual body.
